Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

FAMOUS FANDOM QUOTES:

Orlando Bloom: "Elf Envy...they all had it."

Johnny Depp: "Am I a romantic? I've seen 'Wuthering Heights' ten times. I'm a romantic."..."Captain Jack Sparrow is like a cross between Keith Richards and Pepe Le Pew."..."The only gossip I'm interested in is things from the Weekly World News - 'Woman's bra bursts, 11 injured.' That kind of thing."

Ioan Gruffuld: 'The arses on the trousers aren't very tight. They're very loose and baggy and I like tight trousers. And the shoes - the shoes have got a bit of a heel, and it's a strange sensation for a man. Especially when you're running.' He mimes a mincing trot. 'I am mighty Hornblower! Watch me run like a girl!'

Nicole Kidman: "I think it's important that we don't all have to hold our heads high all the time saying everything's fine."

Audrey Hepburn: ""Success is like reaching an important birthday and finding you're exactly the same."..."I know I have more sex appeal on the tip of my nose than many women in their entire bodies. It doesn't stand out a mile, but it's there."

Dominic Monaghan: "I won't miss having to stand for two hours at 4:30 a.m. and having freezing cold glue applied to my feet. I won't miss two-hour drives to work or long, long, long, days sitting in my trailer waiting... waiting... waiting. I won't miss glue in my ears. But I would do it all again tomorrow."

Scarlett Johansson: "I was driving through Los Angeles and I look up and see the biggest photo of me I have ever seen in my life on a massive ad space. I screamed and slammed on the brakes. I couldn't believe it. It's very strange to see my cleavage the size of a brontosaurus. My breasts were huge. I had long hair and my goodness, I couldn't get past the cleavage."

Elijah Wood: "I think being different, being against the grain of society, is the greatest thing in the world."

Kirsten Dunst: "I'd like to grow up and be beautiful. I know it doesn't matter, but it doesn't hurt."

Cillian Murphy:"I don't know if anyone will ever sit beside me on a plane again."

Billy Boyd: "Hobbits are a lot like Scots. It's all about nature and enjoying their land, which is a very Scottish thing."... "Strangely enough, the first time I tried to read the book I was on holiday in Florida. I dropped it in the pool my first day there. If that's not a Pippin thing to do, I don't know what is."

GARRRRRRRRN.

I'M TOO INFURIATED TO MAKE A PROPER POST.

THEY CAST FRICKING DAKOTA FANNING AS CORALINE IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD BOOKS

AND KEIRA FRICKING KNIGHTLEY IN ATONEMENT! NONONONOONONONONONO!

Sarah, sure she's mediocre, but Atonement was a great book, and she can't pull off the character she's being cast as.

Oh God, what if Dakota Fanning's the lead? I WILL SHOOT MYSELF IN THE LEG.

<3,

Why are casting people so RETARDED?!
Why is Mr. Deslaurier's project so RETARDED?!
Why do I not want to go to school for the rest of the year?
Why do I feel ready for a nervy b.?
Why am I embarking on [yet another] emo crusade?

GARN.

NOTE TO ASPIRING WRITERS.

Do not, under any circumstances, mix Holly Black and Libba Bray's live journals with Rilo Kiley. You will embark on an emo crusade, ALL BY YOURSELF.

That's right. Sans Balian.

I'm not going to make it, am I? I'M GOING TO BE A TEACHER GARRRRN. NOTEACHINGOMG. But at least I never took the SAT at 12. There's been a study that kids who SAT at 12 don't have kids. Scary, but true.

GARRRRRN.

I hate being dismotivated.

It's not even a word.

Yippie Ki Kay, we're a family!

Bonjour, je suis une clotheswhore! =D.

Not looking forward to tomorrow Gay/Even Day.

I hate white people who pretend they're black. HATE.

And I hate slutty people.

Steve Zahn is my #1 celebrity astrology match and he's kinda really ugly @_@.

Le sigh.

To use a driver's ed analogy: let's say I'm driving a car. There are some roadway hazards. I seperate those hazards and continue on my merry way for a bit. Then, my car stalls on the railroad tracks and as I scramble to get out, my car performs a lockdown on me, and I'm stuck. The car explodes. And then the train explodes. And then the factory that manages anthropologie explodes and THAT is the straw that breaks the camel's back.

...

I wish it was Christmas.

NC was okay, shopping was great, reading outside was great, the weather was great, the house was not. I wish they'd finish renovating it because it looks like crap now.

Wow, I'm suddenly pessimistic!

BUT IT'S ST. PATTY'S DAY!! HOW COULD I BE ANGRY?!?!

WOOOOOOO!

Happy Belated Birthday Sherry! <3333.

Go look up pics of Cillian Murphy. I'm too jetlagged to.

Hope y'all had a good spring break!

As with Lazy Sunday...

I saw this live, and now that it's online, I am very amused.

It made me cry with laughter. And I completely adore Andy Samberg. <33333333333333333.

Feeling Strangely Pessimistic.

The halter of my swimsuit is cutting into my neck.

I don't wanna blog my opinions on ze Oscars. Although my new life's dream is to write something, get it chosen to be made into a movie, and win Best Adapted Screenplay with whoever I wrote ze screenplay with. I WILL NOT BE A JK ROWLING "OH WHATEVER YOU DO IS AOKAY I HAVE LOTS OF MONIES HOORAY."

I hope Holly Black's not like that with Valiant.

Writer's block has become writer's fricking knife in my gut.

Ew...gut. What an ugly word.

I don't wanna go to work tomorrow.

Shut up Sherry.

Neko Case is back on rhapsody. How depressed can I be?

My bed still smells of that crazy body lotion I used two days ago. WTF mate.

A well-timed blog entry...

I really like Neko Case. I wish I could buy some of her albums before NC...I always have the strange urge for COUNTRY COUNTRY COUNTRY (as always, not popular modern country...either alt. country like Neko Case or crazy olde tyme bluegrass) when we go to NC. I'm feeling pretty jazzed about this vacay because we've got more planned (like the J.Crew outlet! =DDDDD!), so it shouldn't be as boring. It's so pretty up there, and I have a digi now, so I can ambush the scenery with my Canon! Yippee!

Aunt Merry and (Uncle?) Cole came down today. It was okay. We went to the Rising Sun Cafe, which was suprisingly very good. I love cafes XD. Anyway, ate, talked, et. al. Not very good conversation, but it was the first time we'd talked since the Fiasco. But Aunt Merry was asking what I wanted to do, and I gave my typical answer: "Something involving writing." I've narrowed it down to either Journalism (newspaper or magazine? Dunno.) and Novelization. I adore creative writing, but let's face it: it's not a "safe" field. Journalism is a steady job, novels aren't, unless you're JK Rowling. But it'll kill me to give up fiction...probably. It's just like...well, if I can't do that, then what can I?

I just feel really inadequete, I guess. Never published or anything, even in a crap school newspaper. What if I'm deluding myself into thinking I'm a good writer? I just...ugh. I wish writers were...not paid attention to, I suppose. But I want to be a writer who's kinda recognized in society...not necessarily like a socialite movie star, but more like...oh, I dunno. Recognizable? Admirable? I don't KNOW. I just know that I love to write, and there's just this...intuition inside me that says that's what I'm supposed to do. But (ah, BUT) I've never had any real life experiences, which is probably why I can't finish anything, not even the crappiest short story.

"Draw what you see, write what you know."

Know...a broad term. Know as in familiar with or experienced? I'M DEPRESSING MYSELF.

Watched Style Star with Nicole Kidman. <3 her. She's a redhead. The three people's style who I would love to combine would be Nicole Kidman, Audrey Hepburn, and Gwen Stefani (but not anything from her collection. Blech.).

I'd love to be a fashion designer, but I'm not that innoventive/creative/patient.

What am I going to DO with my life?!

And when am I going to get a boyfriend? Such a childish term, but really...I'M SICK OF FEELING YOUNG AND STUPID.

::siiiiiiigh::

Project Runway is pretty cool. OH NOES, I'VE BEEN SUCKED INTO CONTEST TELEVISION.

Well, t-one week until spring break. THANK GOD.

French Club was exciting as usual. I fell over. Amanda and I were dying at the water fountains. Sherry and I similarly died. Andy and I shared an insider on "Parlez-vous adventure?!". More exciting stuff happened.

LE YAWN.
